Mind-blowing location on the coast path above the harbour, with easy access to pub and beach. Private parking for 2 cars. Spacious downstairs with fully equipped kitchen. Great shower and ample space in the bathroom. David, the host, was fantastic - always available and welcoming. The housekeeper left us treats for Christmas which was a lovely touch. The living room was jaw-droppingly beautiful. Excellent communication throughout. The homemade shortbread and tea and coffee were super. Easy access to the South West Coast path and stunning scenery. The property had everything we needed and oozed charm. Comfy bedding and plush towels. The suntrap patio was perfect for evening relaxation. Absolutely loved our stay!

In terms of value for money, our stay at 19 Headlands Cottage was excellent. The room was spacious and comfortable, with lovely bedding and towels provided. The location, right on the coast and within walking distance of the beach and village, was simply superb. The staff, particularly David the host and Carrie the housekeeper, were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home.
The morning meal could be improved by offering a greater variety of bread options.

Poor hot water pressure in the kitchen. Broken oven with no assistance or support from the owner or local caretakers.

I absolutely loved the charming and cozy atmosphere of the cottage. The decor was beautifully done, with lovely traditional touches that made me feel right at home. The common areas were easily accessible for someone like me with limited mobility, and I felt comfortable moving around the hotel. It was a delightful experience!
I would have appreciated more assistance from the staff, especially when it came to some specific needs of senior guests. A little more attention from the children working there would have made the vacation even better for us.
